It’s been over 5 years since I started practicing at South Jersey Eye Associates. This is literally a dream come true — I have wanted to become an optometrist since my junior year of high school. I worked incredibly hard to achieve this dream, but there was more to it. I always wanted to return to South Jersey and give back to my hometown community. Many people leave the area, but I believe we need more people from South Jersey to return and serve in the best ways we know how.
“I always wanted to return to South Jersey and give back to my hometown community.”
As I walked through the doors of SJEA on July 1st 2020, I was masked and gloved because we were in the middle of the COVID pandemic. I don’t think my patients saw my face until a couple of years later, yet they welcomed me with open arms. Some were naturally skeptical — I am told I look younger than my actual age — but most embraced a new doctor fresh out of school. Not only did my patients welcome me, but I could not have hoped for a more caring and supportive staff.

Building connections with the South Jersey community from day one.
I take our slogan “Eyecare at its Best” to heart each day as I provide optimal eyecare to my patients. I sincerely enjoy caring for my patients and helping them with their vision. My favorite part about what I do is getting to know so many people on a personal level as I care for them. Connecting with people from all walks of life and of various ages is so refreshing and fulfilling.

Five years of moments, connections, and “Eyecare at its Best.”
As I look to the next 5 years and beyond, I plan to continue to listen and to address the needs of my patients and my community. South Jersey is home, and I am grateful every day that I get to serve the people here. Thank you to my patients, my colleagues, and the entire SJEA family for making this journey everything I hoped it would be — and more.
