Professional Eye Exams
Prevention is a critical part of maintaining healthy vision.
An annual eye exam is the best way to ensure optimal vision and catch problems
before they can develop into more serious conditions. It’s important
to remember that many eye disorders can initially manifest without any overt
symptoms. Not only are the eyes “the window on the soul”, they
can also provide us with important early clues about other underlying health
issues as well. A routine comprehensive exam can greatly reduce the danger
of vision loss and give you important insights about your overall health.
Comprehensive
eye exams should also be a priority for your children. The American Academy
of Ophthalmology advises that school age children have a complete medical
eye exam by their fourth birthday—with regular eye
exams approximately every two years thereafter. At South Jersey Eye Associates,
we do everything we can to make our pediatric eye exams fun and stress-free
for children and parents alike. We understand that protecting your child’s
vision is an essential part of helping them realize their potential.
At SJEA, we’d like to make caring for your eyesight and the eyesight of your family a habit you can live with.
